YAS offers services built upon Mr. Chinn's broad business qualifications that encompass not only accounting and tax, but also management, administration, human resources, and computer systems know-how.

Mr. Chinn majored in accounting at the University of Southern California, passed the Certified Public Accounting exam, and has recently completed a practical training curriculum in tax preparation and small business accounting through the Universal Accounting Center. He has received Universal Accounting’s Professional Bookkeeper, QuickBooks Specialist, and Professional Tax Preparer Certifications. Most recently Mr. Chinn was an audit manager in the government sector and has held chief accounting and financial positions in the private sector industries of audit, retail, construction, manufacturing, and computers.

Mr. Chinn’s well-rounded career includes serving his community as President of Ventura Chamber of Commerce, a founding director of the Ventura Community College Foundation, treasurer and board member of the Ventura County Museum of History and Art, a Boy Scout High Adventure Leader, and as a member of the City of Ventura’s Comprehensive Plan Review Committee.
